Chemical Peels
Professional renewal in clinic — gentle maintenance and daily protection at home.
About this treatment
Chemical peels apply professional-strength acids to renew the skin's surface, improving texture, tone and congestion. A peel at ReGen is chosen for your skin in consultation and always comes with specific aftercare.
Because peels deliberately renew the surface, what you use at home between treatments matters — gentle, barrier-supporting products and rigorous sun protection.
How your daily routine complements treatment
A consistent routine maintains the benefits of treatment: gentle cleansing, barrier support and daily SPF. Sun protection is a core part of any peel plan — renewing skin needs protection from the sun, and your practitioner will tell you exactly how to manage it.
Skincare maintains results between treatments; it does not replace them. Home products are not professional peels, and using them aggressively between sessions risks over-exfoliating rather than supporting.

Actives that may need adjusting around treatment
Whether — and for how long — to adjust any product is always your practitioner's decision for your plan. No fixed timings are given here, and actives must never be applied to recently treated skin without clinical guidance.
- —
Exfoliating acids (AHA, BHA, PHA). Home exfoliation on top of professional peels risks over-exfoliating the skin. Whether and when to use exfoliating products around a peel is a decision for your practitioner.
- —
Retinal (vitamin A) night creams. Retinal may need pausing or adjusting around treatment — your practitioner will advise for your plan.
- —
Vitamin C serums. Ask your practitioner before resuming vitamin C serums around peel treatment.
Treatment aftercare comes first
Peel aftercare is treatment-specific because renewing skin is more vulnerable. The instructions given at ReGen always take priority over general routine guidance, including this page.
When to contact ReGen for personalised advice
- ·Before a peel course, so your home routine can be reviewed and adjusted for it.
