Enlarged Pores & Uneven Texture

You cannot shrink pores — you can make them look smaller.

Official ESK prices · 10% ReGen discount · free UK delivery over £60

Pore size is largely genetic. What makes pores look enlarged is what sits inside and around them: oil plugs, dead-cell build-up and loss of firmness as skin ages. Rough, uneven texture has the same roots.

The honest strategy is to keep pores clear and speed up surface renewal with gentle exfoliating acids and vitamin A, keep oil regulated with niacinamide, and protect collagen with daily SPF. Consistency is everything — the effect fades if you stop.

Deeply clogged or scarred pores respond better to in-clinic treatments alongside skincare — ask us what would suit your skin.

Morning protocol

  1. 1

Hydroxy Cleanser — Cleanse with the salicylic and AHA wash to clear surface oil.

  2. 2

B Calm — Apply the niacinamide and salicylic moisturiser to regulate oil and keep pores clear.

  3. 3

Zinc Shade — Finish with the matte SPF — it doubles as a shine controller under makeup.

Evening protocol

  1. 1

Hydroxy Cleanser — Cleanse the day away.

  2. 2

Ultimate A+ — Advanced evening swap: replaces your B Calm on the nights you use it. Frequency follows the product's official instructions, your individual tolerance and practitioner guidance.

  3. 3

B Calm — Essential nights: moisturise with B Calm when not using the night cream.

How often to use

  • ·Hydroxy Cleanser, B Calm and Zinc Shade daily.
  • ·Run the essential routine alone for two to four weeks before adding any active.
  • ·Introduce Ultimate A+ slowly — there is no automatic step-up to nightly use. Frequency follows the product's official instructions, your individual tolerance and practitioner guidance.
  • ·Prefer to avoid vitamin A? Smooth Serum can be used instead — on its own nights, two to three nights a week to start, never alongside the retinal cream.

Precautions

  • ·Over-exfoliating backfires — more redness, more oil, bigger-looking pores. Your cleanser and B Calm already contain exfoliating acids, so this routine adds retinal only, never a second exfoliating serum alongside it; anything further needs practitioner approval.
  • ·Retinal products (Ultimate A+) must not be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
  • ·Wear SPF daily while using exfoliating acids.
  • ·Congestion that will not shift, or pitted scarring, needs in-clinic treatment — a consultation will map your options.
