Full-scalp PRP treatment is designed for widespread thinning across the scalp. Platelet-rich plasma is drawn from your own blood and injected strategically across the whole scalp, delivering a concentrated dose of your own growth factors directly to the hair follicles, where they support the growth cycle and help slow shedding. It suits those noticing diffuse thinning, increased shedding or reduced density across the scalp, and it works best when thinning is relatively early — which is why an assessment matters. A course of sessions spaced roughly a month apart is typically recommended, with results developing gradually: reduced shedding is often noticed first, with improvements in density over the following months. The appointment takes around 60 minutes. Mild tenderness or small bumps on the scalp may occur and settle within a day.
