Tear trough filler is a precise treatment for the hollows that sit beneath the eyes, which can cast shadows and leave the face looking tired regardless of how well rested you are. Using very small amounts of soft hyaluronic acid filler placed carefully along the groove, treatment gently restores support beneath the eye, softening the shadowing and creating a smoother, more refreshed transition between the lower eyelid and cheek. The under-eye area is one of the most delicate areas to treat, which is why a thorough consultation comes first. Not all dark circles are caused by volume loss — pigmentation, fine vessels and lifestyle factors can all contribute — so an honest assessment of whether filler is the right approach is essential, and skin-quality treatments such as polynucleotides may sometimes be more appropriate. The treatment itself takes around 45 minutes. Mild swelling or bruising is possible, and results settle over the following two weeks. A review appointment is included so your outcome can be assessed and refined if needed. Results are long-lasting though not indefinite, and top-ups can be discussed at your review.
