Marionette lines run from the corners of the mouth towards the chin, and as they deepen they can pull the mouth into a downturned, tired expression. Lower face balancing uses carefully placed hyaluronic acid filler to restore support around the mouth corners and pre-jowl area, softening these lines and helping the lower face look more rested and content. Treatment is always planned around your anatomy. Rather than simply filling the line, the approach supports the structures that have lost volume, so the result looks natural rather than padded. The jawline and chin are often assessed at the same time, as supporting these areas can improve overall lower-face harmony. The procedure takes around 45 minutes, with numbing cream for comfort. Mild swelling or bruising may occur and settles within a week or two. Results develop as the filler integrates over the first two weeks, and a review appointment is included.
