Perioral rejuvenation combines polynucleotides with micro-dose botulinum toxin to refresh the delicate skin around the mouth. The polynucleotides support skin regeneration, improving texture, fine lines and resilience, while micro-dose toxin softens the muscles that contribute to barcode lines and lip tension. Together, they address both the skin quality and the muscle activity that age the perioral area, creating a smoother, more refreshed appearance. This treatment is suited to clients concerned about fine lines above the lip, loss of lip border definition or overall perioral ageing, and is often combined with lip filler for a complete result. Treatment is delivered by our aesthetic nurse practitioner following a consultation and medical assessment. An initial course of two to three sessions, spaced four weeks apart, is typically recommended, with maintenance treatments every four to six months. Results develop gradually over the first month and continue to improve with each session.
