Treatment Overview
Sculptra is a biostimulator treatment that uses poly-L-lactic acid to encourage your skin's own collagen production, restoring volume and improving skin thickness over time. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Sculptra works gradually, supporting the skin's structure from within to create a natural, long-lasting result. It is particularly suited to clients noticing volume loss in the cheeks, temples or lower face, or those seeking a subtle, progressive refresh rather than immediate change. Treatment involves a series of injections delivered by our aesthetic nurse practitioner following a thorough consultation and medical assessment. An initial course of two to three sessions, spaced four to six weeks apart, is typically recommended, with results developing gradually over the following months as collagen production increases. Results can last up to two years or more. A review appointment is recommended to assess progress and determine whether further sessions are appropriate for your goals. Mild swelling, redness or bruising at the injection points is common and typically settles within a few days.
