About this product
Enlighten is specifically designed to help create the appearance of a more even skin tone. This lightweight cream helps to gently create a more even skin tone and hydrate and improve the barrier function of the skin.
While rarely used, 4-n-butylresorcinol (4nB) has some of the best evidence in this arena. Enlighten combines 4nB (0.1%) and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) (5%) to create a rare combination of gentle yet effective ingredients. Enlighten helps tackle a mottled or uneven skin tone and is suitable for long term daily use
How to use
Apply 1-2 pumps to fingertips and apply to face after cleansing and under sunscreen in the morning. Can also be applied in the evening.

Precautions
ESK does not recommend using Hydroquinone and 4-n-butylresorcinol at the same time, as this can be too harsh on the skin barrier (the two can be alternated while transitioning from Hydroquinone). On 4-n-butylresorcinol, ESK notes it has very low systemic absorption and is usually presumed to be pregnancy-safe, but it has not been specifically trialled in pregnant women; check with your clinician before using any skincare products in pregnancy. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, ESK advises swapping out Ultimate A and using Enlighten instead as a gentle, effective alternative.
